Janubai Mata Goshala
A Sacred Shelter of Compassion — Protecting and Serving Abandoned Cows.
Through the vision and initiative of Pradeep Sheth Khopade, the Shri Janubai Mata Goshala was established beside the temple.
The Goshala mainly shelters and cares for abandoned, injured, or rescued cows, particularly those:
- that poor farmers can no longer maintain,
- that were being sent to slaughterhouses, or
- that were rescued via police stations or court orders.
Currently, 40 to 50 cows are housed and well cared for here.
The Goshala operates purely for spiritual service and protection of the sacred cow, without any source of commercial income.
